Notes from recent microgrant recipients:

To the donors towards my grant,
I am truly grateful for your generosity, for believing in my work and for supporting me with your donations. This new camera will allow me to continue my projects and it will be helpful for me in all of my academic work.
To fototazo, thank you so much for supporting me, for allowing me to show my work and for connecting me to your microgrants.
Thank you very much,
Daniela Serna

Dear Donors,
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generosity and for what your contribution means to me for my academic and artistic future. It has been incredibly important for the realization of my personal work and for my development during the end of my time at the university during which I have invested all my effort and my interest as a visual artist in creating photographic images.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Oscar Eduardo Ulloa

It was a total surprise and joy to realize that I had completed the required amount to get a camera at the end of the grant process and a million images passed through my mind. I remembered all of the times I had attempted to get the camera and the many reasons I could not buy it and I also remembered the day Tom told me that the site had decided to go through this process with me, a very important and happy day...it was like blinking your eyes and what you want has happened and there is nothing happier than to have happen what your desire. I'll be very pleased and proud to work and to create images with the camera made by all of you together as a collaboration.
Margarita Valdivieso

DEAR DONORS,
First of all, the lens is great! I want to express my deepest gratitude for your generous support that goes beyond economic support; it is also believing in the possibility that someone that you do not know connects with you in some way.
This microgrant means that I can continue growing in my career as a photographer and artist. I am proud to have been chosen and it inspires me to keep working every day with lots of energy and passion to be worthy of the support you have given me. I send a heartfelt thanks and a warm hug.
Thank you very much,
Edwin Ochoa
