GALLERY SUBMISSIONS
We publish selected photographs to the fototazo Gallery.
The gallery project offers photographers the opportunity to share their work with an international readership. Gallery images are composed of a combination of community submissions and images chosen for the space by fototazo. To submit your work to for consideration, please follow the following guidelines. Submissions not adhering to these guidelines will not be considered.
Email the image to fototazo@gmail.com with "gallery submission" in the subject line. Format the image as an sRGB JPG, 750 pixels on the long side at a resolution of 72ppi. In the body of the email please include your website, the title and date of the image, a series statement on the body of work the image is from as well as any caption information for this particular image. Title the JPG with your name and the month in which you send the image (e.g. dianeArbusJune2011.jpg). A sample post including a "series statement" can be seen here.
Submissions are limited to one image per month per photographer. Photographers who have an image published in the gallery are encouraged to submit again at least six months after their image is featured. Please remember that submissions are competitive and the number of entries high.
All images submitted will remain active in the selection pool indefinitely unless you specify otherwise. Images are frequently published a month or more after submission. Photographers retain the copyright on all submitted and published materials.
