Tatiana Parcero is from Mexico, but lives in Argentina.

Her statement:
I work with the body as a way to reconstruct with photographs and videos, experiences, social and cultural symbols; I explore it as a map where I can relate different concepts of identity, memory, territory and time.

I'm interested in exploring the relationship between the human being and life; between man and earth, between nature and the body; religions, rituals and traditions of diverse cultures are - clearly or subtly - reflected in the images. With all of these elements I reinvent and recreate visual metaphors; I like to move from the particular to the general, my experience as a reflection of others.

At the present time I'm working with the concept of change: migrations, immigrations, the impact of climate change and the importance to preserve natural resources.

Dina Mitrani is the owner and director of her photography gallery, which she opened in November of 2008. She studied Art History at the University of Michigan and then received her Master's at Hunter College in New York City. After working at Christie's, as well as two other reputable galleries in New York, she returned to Miami where she was born and raised to convert her parent's clothing factory into a thriving center for creative thinking, opening art studios in 2002. She and her sister Rhonda who runs a video art gallery were pioneers in making what is known today as the Wynwood Art District. Her gallery, housed in this same warehouse, has become a "go-to" place for photography in Miami, offering not only exhibitions, but lectures and artist talks in order to educate and enrich Miami's growing arts culture.
